The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) en.lighten initiative and lites.asia workshop on enforcement was held in Bangkok on 3-4 February 2015. It focussed on engaging government policy makers and enforcement personnel in building capacity for the development and implementation of robust enforcement strategies to support energy efficient lighting standard and labelling programmes and on the financial mechanisms and options to mobilise funding to help support national and regional efficient lighting programmes.
The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) en.lighten initiative and lites.asia hosted a targeted workshop in Bangkok, Thailand from 3-4 February 2015.
This meeting engaged government policy makers and enforcement personnel in building capacity for the development and implementation of robust enforcement strategies to support energy efficient lighting standard and labelling programmes. The meeting also offered the opportunity to discuss financial mechanisms and options to obtain funding resources.
