Monitoring, verification and enforcement guidance notes
Commissioned as part of its Southeast Asia and Pacific Monitoring, Verification and Enforcement Project, with funding from the Australian Government, the UNEP-GEF en.lighten initiative has produced a series of six publications on monitoring, verification and enforcement (MVE).
This series provides practical tools in support of lighting policy compliance frameworks and to help countries achieve a successful transition to energy efficient lighting. The publications build on the existing guidance given in the UNEP-GEF en.lighten reference manual, Achieving the Global Transition to Energy Efficient Lighting Toolkit. They focus on individual aspects of an effective MVE infrastructure and how these contribute to improved product compliance and the success of policies aimed at transforming the market to efficient lighting.
